Autogenic Training is not only a relaxation method, but a methodology that, using the Bionomic approach, as I.H. SCHULTZ said, takes good care of your mind, body and soul. The Autogenic Training ( literally it means “a self-induced training”) is able to realize some physiological and psychical modifications (the put of the neurovegetative system to rest and the restructuring of personality) through a special phsychophysical training.

At the basis of the process there is a change of  the strenghtened and structured condition of things: from the phsycological point of view it means to change your deep-rooted mind-set, to fall out your old habits, to use in a different way thought, attention and concentration.

In the specific case, training means to do the opposite of habits: normally you learn how “to do” something, on the contrary the Autogenic Training helps you, gradually, “not to do”.
